Poet

Being a poet is so grand,
Writing short stanzas about lala-lands,
But a poet does not just write about imaginary things,
like 100ft rubies or giant rings,

A poet writes about the times,
The times we cared,
The time we shared,
The times we loved ,
And the times we did not.

Poets may write with aggression,
Depression,
And expression,
But no matter how we write poetry is our obsession.

Firstly, I'd like to say I liked your rhyming scheme, although it seems to have been redeemed in places where it would be considered too obscene to be seen. Also, one thing; your spelling on the tenth line as I think you'll find you've missed a g, mind, the rest of your grammar showed no signs of fault so that's fine.

Overall I'd say don't aim to rhyme but aim to shine, a good metaphor might not sound as good from the vocal chords but it's definitely worth more.
The most wondrous sight I've ever seen is the sight of the sun in the sky.We are some of the lucky few who are allowed to exist; does that not make it all worth it?

a chance to understand?
