One, two, three
bump, bump, bump.
Stop.
My breath catches,
and for a moment
I forget me promise.
I forget not to think about you,
forget not to love you.
I think of your eyes,
a blue I have never seen before
and never will again.
But the moment passes
and I restart my heart.
One, two, three.
Bump, bump, bump.
I Let your memory slide away
even though I know it will come back,
it always does,
to haunt me.
And now I will start again
to keep my promise,
the one I made to my mind,
to let you go,
and with you the pain in my heart.
When you turn to face the sun, all of the shadows fall behind you.
I used to be Writer97 but that was boring so I changed it. PandaRawr is more me.

I tell the neophyte: Write a million words–the absolute best you can write, then throw it all away and bravely turn your back on what you have written. At that point, you’re ready to begin.
