homing (verb)-
combination of home and yearning, similar to the term for an animal's return to his/her birthplace
1. when you find yourself wanting to go home...but definitely not picturing you mum and dad's house in your mind.
Walking out of the airport my heart was homing hard, sadly though, it was just back to my parent's house for me.
