man up,
and grow some balls.
I'm over you,
done,
and I'm not looking back.
Do yourself a favor,
kiddo,
and do the same.
I'll just lol to all of my friends,
and make your life miserable.
'Cause in the last few months,
I've learned some things.
Some new tricks.
And I learned them from the best,
as you like to refer to yourself as.
Don't take this as cruel,
that wasn't my intention.
Just think of it as...
Oh, I don't know,
the cold.
Hard.
Truth.




Alrighty, so I know it's not great, but no harsh critiques please. It's just something I wrote down because I was bored and a song came on that made me think of writing it. I don't even have the real life inspiration for it, not even anyone to say it too. So, just... calm it down please.

Thus far it has a nice bittersweet, it just missing something.
Nevertheless, it has a nice flow to it.

Hopefully you find that missing piece in your poem.

You have displayed emotion in a realistic point of view. As if it was a monologue, or even a dialog. Although sometimes, you must remember that it isn't just what you write that counts, but how you personally feel about every single word. Become your poem.

I love the voice in this. It sounds exactly like who I imagine the narrator is: blunt, heartbroken and passed caring. The first line is such a great way to open this poem, it grabs you.

I promise I won't tear it apart, but I have 2 suggestions. Just 2!!! So if you ever decide to work on it.

This line I didn't really understand. I don't think it's completely vital to this poem so you could just take it out.

This is kind of confusing to read. If I were to rewrite it I would change it to:
'Cause in the last few months
I've learned some new things.
Some new tricks.
Learned them all from the best.
Guess who?

Anyway, I really liked your style and voice in this poem. Always keep writing!
