Ok, this is kind of rough and I'm not sure what to think. It's kind of all over the place. It's like 3:00 am, so I'll probably wake up tomorrow and totally hate it, but whatever. ALSO, when I wrote it, I had NO idea that I was rhyming. It just turned out that way, I mean, I never write, or even like rhyming poems... Constructive criticism, please :)
This is what my first 2 weeks of high school has been/felt like.

I'm falling from a window,
Do you see?
To the boy in the library,
And the girl with the piercing,
Do you see?
I'm not thrusting myself to the rocks,
Not to the rocks and volatile sea.
Not to some beautiful facade,
Or glorified insanity.

No, I lost my balance,
Looking at the world below the top floor.
I broke the glass,
And shattered reflections,
Shattered purpose, reality,
And the ability to be.

Will you know,
That for all my silence,
I'm trying to call out?
I'm trying to learn how to speak.
But there are moments,
Where I look away from the sky,
And wait, subdued,
For the hard concrete.

When I reach the pavement,
Will it be scary,
Or soothing when the cold spreads over me?
What if I become fragments,
Nothing but ugly pieces,
With thoughts still raging inremmitingly?

I'm not always sure
If you'll catch me in time,
Lessen the impact,
Or be there when I fall.
Just know the answer
To 'what happened here?'
And promise me, please,
Not to be those who ask

But I'm curious.
Will I be the girl who fell from the building,
Or the girl who jumped to sea?
Help me not be a story, though.
Instead, make this one of our bad memories.
Help me confirm my importance,
Grab my shoulder,
Spin me around,
And let yourself tell me not to leave.

That's gorgeous, just gorgeous!
I apologise, when I saw what you said about it being about starting high school I wasn't impressed - but within the first stanza I was completely hooked!
You have a lot of gift, I'm very, very impressed!

I just love the idea, of the girl falling from the window, and the imagery was wonderful, I could almost see a clip of it happening in my head!
It was, for want of a better word, very deep.
You simply must carry on writing!

Beautiful poem! The imagery was wonderful, and your wording was very eloquent :] In this poem, you can actually feel the emotion swirling in the words. The poem created a sense of wanting and needing to belong which I can relate to.

That's another thing, it was very easy to relate to, because we've all had that sense of wanting to belong. This poem definitely brought back my own memories from I felt a same way.

Keep up the good work! :]

LOVE.THIS.POEM.
That's all there is to say. I liked how you put
To the boy in the library,
And the girl with the piercing,

I dont know but it made it seem more real, you know.
:D
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
But why bounce around to the same damn song?
I know, you know, that I'm not telling the truth.
I know, you know, they just don't have any proof.
Your worst inhibition's gonna psych you out in the end.

Hey you! First review in weeks and I'm happy I stumbled upon yours!

This was sooo beautifully written, amazing desriptions - you really managed to make this vivid and alive and it was so easy to envision everything! It's also quite obvious that your talanted with words and like "artsy" said, you could actually feel the emotion stuffed in as good as every word.

When it comes to structure and grammar I think you made an allright job. Personally I would've kept some sort of pattern to the stanzas like, same length or rythm or something like that to tie the piece together but that's up to you I guess :)

I did find one little grammatic error at the very last line, I don't know if it was a typo or an accidental mistake but I'll point it out for you;
"That you'll even noticed if I choose to scream." - You've mixed past and present tense here and it should either say;
"That you'll even notice if I choose to scream." or "That you'll have even noticed if I chose to scream."

I loved the content of this piece though, strong message, delivered in a smooth and powerful way! I can totally relate and I think many can because it's written in a sort of vague way so it could be anybody's life... even though it's very detailed which makes it so amazing!

Hope I could be of help, I'll give you 5/5 icky sticky spiders xD

Good Luck & Keep Writing

Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice." - Robert Frost
