Please "like" if you like, and comments are much appreciated and welcome!

Spoiler
For some strange reason Firefox Spell Check says "biome" is not a word, but I looked it up and it is.

The sun's fibers yawn out,
causing golden droplets to dance about;
matching the leaves to the cheetah's theme,
giving birth
to the rhythm of the forest.

The woodpecker's hammer drums a beat,
sending wooden sprinkles to the canopy's feet;
a dry shower in the silky moist biome,
bringing beauty
to the rhythm of the forest.

The stork's cry echoes a song,
that dances off the flower petal's gong;
tickling the fawn's grazing lips,
adding joy
to the rhythm of the forest.

This choir, so melodious, so true,
dances and travels into ears new;
and the humans stand and listen,
in awe
at the rhythm of the forest.

I would love to live in a place like this. forget the city the lights the night life hoopla. I go hiking alot and its far away from the city life if you get high enough you can see the city and behind you is just green and mountain it smells different. Now to live in a forest! I would feel weightless, the natural noises of birds and animals are so melodious everything is soft and flows. I could just imagine. Awsome write!

Tidal waves they rip right through me
Tears from eyes worn cold and sad
Pick me up now, I need you so bad
Down down down down

This is so wonderful!

I can hardly give you any advice, I'm sorry, but it is just really well written! I couldn't find any spelling, grammar, etc. mistakes to give you a hard time about. The rhythm is almost perfect, which is also rare. I can almost always find at least a couple of things to say about the flow of the words when one reads it aloud.

giving birth
to the rhythm of the forest.

bringing beauty
to the rhythm of the forest.

adding joy
to the rhythm of the forest.

in awe
at the rhythm of the forest.

I really like how the repeating of the final line of the stanza works really well. In a lot of cases (inluding a large portion of the poems I've written) this does not work very well, but there is a perfect amount used here that is pleasing to the ear.

Awesome descriptions, but I think you could use a little more. I love the stuff you've already got, but just two or three more stanzas of sights and sounds would not hurt, I think. You explore sight and sound, and a little smell, but maybe you could tell us what the trees and the breeze feel like, what you can smell in the sweet air, a little more of that kind of stuff. By the way, I don't think you should have put the picture there, because it detracts from your descriptions of the place you're in.

Anyways, great writing! I'd like to hear more of your poetry!

P.S. Firefox Spell Check is stupid. Sorry.

Like it! And Biome is a word, I just learned it in Biology. :) Anyway, I loved the repetition. It was a very good poem, and felt.. refreshing? Not sure if that's the word I'm looking for. I don't think so. But, it did have the flow of a forest, of a river... you know? I'm not making sense. No mistakes that I caught. Great job. :D

Wow...this poem was epic...well, maybe not epic but it certainly left an impression on me. I liked it, to put things simply. This line was my particular favorite:

The stork's cry echoes a song,
that dances off the flower petal's gong;
tickling the fawn's grazing lips,
adding joy
to the rhythm of the forest.

I just really loved the imagery of it.

Fruity here!

Hey I really liked this poem. You used REALLY good imagery, and your purpose was great as well. I really think that the repitition added to the mood, and kind of gave to the calm and mysterious feeling. Like I said, you used really good imagery, and I think that this: [quoteThe stork's cry echoes a song,
that dances off the flower petal's gong][/quote]was really unique and a beautiful metaphor. You used a lot of figurative language that really made me feel like I was standing in this forest while reading this. This was extremely good and I have no criticism, and trust me, I don't usually write reviews without pointing out a fault. Keep up the good work and please keep writing!

Love, fruity!
