I am hybrid, leather studded human
And born again with the sunset of
The new age in my eyes.

I am too far gone from you now.
Beyond death, towards something brighter.
In a cage, made of the stuff of dreams,
You have trapped yourself.

Walking on Persian carpets over
Barren land where nothing grows.
You have died, more or less
And I am the one to survive you.
Im the best :)

While I can't pin-point exactly what this is about, I really love it. Unfortunately, I don't have much criticism to offer, which I know is really unhelpful, but I at least wanted to tell you how beautiful this is.

This line, particularly:
And born again with the sunset of
The new age in my eyes.

is really striking, I think because of the contrast within it. First, you've got the contrast of birth and sunset, so beginning and end, and then you add more contrast with sunset and a new age. That was one of the first things that made me sit up and pay attention more--a cliche line would be "dawn of a new age", but you turn that cliche around, and give the reader something to think about, instead. This is also what first reminded me of a kind of post-apocalyptic world, with the new age of humanity, which is only a hair's breadth in the history of the Universe, coming to a close, and something else being born.

So like, I said, while I can't say what the subject is, I'm guessing it's the end of the world as we know it, with evolution moving on. The other line that made me think of that is:
In a cage, made of the stuff of dreams,
You have trapped yourself.
, which makes me think of how we've become so assured that we're the top of the evolutionary ladder, and we're so certain in everything we do that we've gotten stuck in our confident mind-set, which may be our downfall one day. (It actually reminds me a lot of X-Men, with mutants being so called homo superior, but I get the feeling that that's not what you were going for...)

I'm really sorry I couldn't be more useful, but it's an amazing poem, and I just wanted to let you know that.

hYBRID leather studded humans & stuff of dreams both sound a little weird here and don't seem to go along very well.

The rhyming was good, smooth.

Hi there! So I really liked this poem. It was short, sweet, and to the point. The only thing I would comment on is:

Barren land where nothing grows.

It seems a bit redundant to me. I'd take a look at it if I were you, see if you can change it up a little bit. If not, that's just fine. Elsewise, though, I really don't have any criticism for this piece. Very well done! Keep up the good work. :)
