Love saved him in the beginning,
love saved him in the end.
His mother died to let him live,
and came back to let him die.

He found magic with good timing,
and with fame he didn't grow big-headed.
He saved the stone from evil,
and let Nicholas finish quietly.

He came back for his friends,
although a small resistance held him up.
The woman whom he later marries,
Is saved now by his Bravery and a Hat.

Once more returning to this merry place,
He finds a new feeling, vengeance,
but at a loss is he, for instead of revenge,
A new kind of family.

Entered against your will,
of every importance he raced against the odds.
But the win brought him no joy, heartbreak,
Evil rises again.

He has now a connection,
the order of things has changed.
He sees evil in his dreams,
the family once gained, lost again.

Back again he comes,
A new year, and new information,
critical for not only his life.
But the most important person in his life, dead.

He searches ever long,
for the soul of evil,
but once he, himself, the hero is destroyed,
he becomes reborn.
Life everlasting.

Thats it. Oh yeah, and we loved snape anyway:)

Hey I did already take a look at this poem but I don't really have anything to say except that I agree wholeheartedly with everything you wrote.

I love this broad look at the entire series and how perfectly it works.

This line confused me a little bit; I didn't exactly know what you were getting at.

Another line that confused me a little bit; I think if you could omit the use of the word "Your" it might be really helpful.
I adored the last two stanzas.
It is really hard to tie together the ideas and themes of an entire 7-book series into one short poem, so I say you did a really great job. At some parts the meaning was a little confusing, but overall it was simply wonderful. Keep up the great work.
Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked I will depart.

Good piece. It summarized the series very well, and I think this would be a good crash course for those newbies to the world of Harry Potter. So, congratulations on that. However, it seemed to me to be a tad bit cluttered in the way that it was written. Focus more on the structure of your poem, and not solely on what goes in it. Part of the overall picture of beauty exists with the presentation of the information. But this is just my novice opinion. Don't let it mitigate the beauty of this work ;P Congratulations again on a good piece, and I certainly look forward to reading more from you! :D
