What is the lounge exactly?

It's the catch-all, social section of the site. If you aren't sure about where a thread should go, you can usually stick it in The Lounge, and it will fit.

What instrument do you play, Matthewmazer?
I don't play any band instruments. Is the club for orchestra and choir as well? I'm a cellist, pianist, and vocalist. Apparently, we have quite a few cellists floating around the site. Woot!
