Everyone says,
Discover yourself
Do what you want to do
But, nobody ever said
It would be hard.
They say when you find yourself,
You know.
You know when you find that talent;
That talent that supposedly,
Everyone has.
Sports, Theater, Science, Math, Art, Dance, or Writing,
Everyone has a thing.
A thing that makes them satisfied;
a thing that makes them happy.
No matter what I do,
No matter how hard I try.
I can’t seem to find mine.

Hey,
I'm happy to be the first reviewer of your poem, and hopefully I am not the last because I really don't know what to say about this poem. It's neither great or horrible. What I do know is that your poem doesn't really flow, and it seems unfinished. It's a relatable subject, but you also have to make it unique to make it interesting. If you have any questions or need another review feel free to ask :)

Have a great day,
Tiffany

Lol, son, I think you just wrote a poem embodying the teenage condition. Often times I find myself quoting the billion dollar rule: "Above all, to thine self be true."
It's a wonderful poem, well paced, well said, and clear. A very auspicious start, to say the least, and the fact I love most about it is it isn't really self-pitying, more like a complaint. I sick of the Emo-death-you-are-my-B!tch-lover ridiculousness. very refreshing, and very true.

I can relate pretty dang well. I can't sing, dance, play, run, or act. I'm a loser... :'( xD

But, hey, I like to sing, even though I sound bad; draw, even if they suck; dance, even if I look pathetic; act even if I forget my lines. I still try my best to run a mile and play sports.

The truth is, you're not just automatically good at something. You have to practice to get good. It takes time. Who knows? Maybe, one day, I'll be an amazing singer, or athlete, or actress, or artist, or dancer. If it happens, then it proves that practice nakes perfect.

Now, nice poem. But where's the rhymes? Work on it.

Nice job.

The previous reviews pretty much covered the critiques, and I agree. This was well-written and concise, but I've seen you put a lot more emotion into your poems, and brilliantly at that. That's my only nitpick...aside from that, great work! It was very true, very real. I think everyone can identify with it in some way.
I aim to misbehave.
