My weird friend

I have a weird friend
Who loves to buy
But hates to spend.
She went to walk the dog, one day
But took the cat instead.
She wears bright colourful clothes to school
And insists she prefers to blend.
She even wrote a lovely letter
But instinctively refused to send.
I have a very, very weird friend
Who's lovely, but is pretend

Good. I liked the dual nature of the character. The line

She wears bright colourful clothes to school

doesn't quite jive rhythmically. Neither does

And insists she prefers to blend.

It needs to be fixed.

Yeah I would slightly agree with Flyer, but I would say only try to find another word for either instead or blend, because that part does rhyme. Other than that it rhymes well. I like the thought of the poem, it sounds like you do have a really odd friend, but we are all odd in some way. In my opinion, Strange = diefferent, and different = an individual. keep up the writing.

i really like this poem, but something seemed a little off to me. maybe make it a bit longer, or go into more detail about this friend? it ends a bit abruptly, if you added a little more length, i think this poem would be a great piece of work, especially with the theme you've got there. the imagrey is fantastic, although it could use a little more....Oomph for lack of better terminology. overall the poem is a very good start
