Smoke
The heartbeats, they are receding
The distant breathing is moving further away
Is there a light at the end of this tunnel
Or does the darkness forever reign
A cigarette bursts into bright orange flames
And blue smoke fills the darkness
Colours naught seen by eyes so void of light
Yet so vivid and alive that instant
My breath was taken
Come closer, she said
And I flew forward
Red lips glistened and sucked on the white stick
She swallowed the smoke
Come hither, she said her lips turned black
She kissed me on the mouth
and blew the smoke into my lungs
Light returned to the world, standing on the street alone
I threw away the butt and quickly lit another one
The heartbeats, they are receding
The distant breathing is moving further away
Is there a light at the end of this tunnel
Or does the darkness forever reign
A cigarette bursts into bright orange flames
And blue smoke fills the darkness
Colours naught seen by eyes so void of light
Yet so vivid and alive that instant
My breath was taken
Come closer, she said
And I flew forward
Red lips glistened and sucked on the white stick
She swallowed the smoke
Come hither, she said her lips turned black
She kissed me on the mouth
and blew the smoke into my lungs
Light returned to the world, standing on the street alone
I threw away the butt and quickly lit another one
