My Most-Likely Failing Attempt

Life is a roller-coaster,
It has it's up, it's downs,
It's curves, it rounds.
It doesn't give me a choice on some things,
As soon as its off, you can't change it.

He says he was out,
But his eyes say something different.
You can smell the perfume,
and champagne on his breath.

You tell yourself you don't care,
but you keep crawling back to him.
What's wrong with you?
He's a liar, he doesn't love you.

You know what?
I stopped caring.
I stopped caring the moment the year started.
The moment I saw your stinkin, ugly face.
Home-work, you suck.

(In case you didn't catch that, this is about home-work.)

I hide the scars that show who I used to be, I cover the marks from becoming me, I smiled at the places I felt darkest in, I bask in my sunniest memories. You tell me you love me, babe! but e both know thats not true. Thats okay, though. I've gotten over you.
