Hey there! I'm supposed to present this tomorrow -during our graduation party- but because I just love you idiots so much, I decided to post this one day earlier than I am supposed to.
Knowing that you couldn't care less, I still decided to do this selfless action. So you BETTER like it.
I spent a lot on time on it, too. I can think of a dozen things I'd rather do in these one-and-half-hour.
So here it is:
Ode to Faid Al-Ma'rifa and Its Teachers
I'm from grade ten –form six- and as one of the class keepers;
I wrote the following poem that talks about our teachers.
First, there's Ms. Hayam, who taught us Islamic;
Like no one ever did, she gave a new meaning to 'academic'.
Second, there's our Arabic teacher, who's always mad at us;
Ms. Turkeya, please forgive my class for making such a noisy fuss.
The same goes to Ms. Noor, we're sorry we raised your blood pressure;
Ms. Azza, and Ms, Wafa', being taught by you has been a pleasure.
Of course, there's Ms. Marayam who had taught us maths;
I know you want the best for us all, and you helped us reach our paths.
I'd like to personally thank Ms. Naeema, because otherwise it'd be wrong;
She always supported my poetry, I'm sorry if I made them too long.
Let's not forget Ms. Zahra, oh, and Ms. Ayda as well;
I hope you know we didn't mean to make your lives a living hell.
Ms. Ruqaya, if we forget anything, it would be a sin to forget you;
Trust me, no one can teach science the awesome way you do.
Teachers, you're the best, you all shine as bright as the Sun,
You also have believed in us like no one's ever done.
This year has been a flash. Perhaps it had been the BEST year ever;
Faid Al-Ma'rifa, we're leaving, but don't forget us. Don't you ever.
