True meaning of music, is able to express your feelings when you dont know how to express them yourself. True meaning of poetry, putting words together, not to make the perfect definition, but a perfect expression, and at the end it all comes together as one. Music and poetry go together for one special reason, they are the root of true Hip-Hop. Over time it is evident that Hip-Hop has not only lost its meaning, but also its purpose, in the words of Nas, Hip-Hop is dead. But knowing such a death was coming Common Sense told the world in his song, I Use To Love H.E.R. It was not a song of lust, not a song a true female, not even a song of a confused love. But the love of true Hip-Hop. Such a beautiful thing originating from the Bronx in New York, and today only to be stripped from its reason for being.

But if Hip-Hop was a female, she would be mine. But someone I would love to share to those who have the true appreciation of her and not just trien to use as a meal-ticket. If Hip-Hop was a female, she would bi-sexual, because Queen Latifah had her and made it known her love for all females in Lady's First. But Hip-Hop would also be the gangster girl type, because she was the only one people like Biggie and Tupac had to turn to, the only one who would understand them, and take that understanding and give another something to relate to.

If Hip-Hop was a female she would shed so many tears, and be there to wipe so many away. She would let blood flow from her veins and drip into a mixture of sweat. If Hip-Hop was a female, she would be bi-racial, she she knows that every face has a story to tell.

If Hip-Hop was a female, again, she would be mine, because music and poetry is my life, at times seeming all i have to live for. And when the two collide they create her.

Common use to love H.E.R but I always will.

Heinrigh Von Kleist, 'On the Puppet Theater'

You must never give into despair. Allow yourself to slip down that road, and you surrender to your lowest instincts. In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself. That is the meaning of inner strength.
