The moon shattered,
And darkness broke free,
Creeping ‘round corners,
Looking for me.

Misery loves company,
So put on the tea,
Stir in some cyanide,
And bring it to me.

Oh! How precious,
How sweet is the taste,
A cup of melancholy,
Drunken with haste.

Slowly falling—falling asleep,
Just another soul to keep.

I loved this poem but what is it about? Don't get me wrong I usually understand poetry, but this was sort of hard to grasp. I liked the descriptions and the way you wrote it and the stanzas, there is nothing wrong with this poem as far as my eyes can see. That was all I had to ask. Other than that question I liked it.

I really like this poem and its touch of sarcasm! It's simple and has a nice rhyming pattern.
Nice work.

Good poem, I felt it ended abruptly though
