POP! In the last two years my eyes were opened to the changing world and the big stuff that's happening. And while I'll barely ever understand the gravity of the Middle Eastern Revolutions going on, or the gravity of 9/11 or what some upcoming civil war will mean, it has got me wondering. Is there one huge event of global scale that you could earmark as one of those you view as of truly great magnitude? If not, what do you think it could be?
Personally, nothing's happened in my few short years of consciousness that I can mark as huge. Something that could make me scream 'Mom! You were right!' and gather the entire family around the TV. The max event that I've followed, was the election of President Obama. But if there were one event that I would love to see in my lifetime is what a post-United States world would look like - media wise. If the United States were not the media superpower, what would my speech be like, and what would the fashion be like?
