CHAPTER THREE
Hello, Veronica
Marky dropped his body on the soft bed when Ismael left him in his suite. The trip didn't make him tired but bored. He even wanted to hang around with Naddie but he felt embarrassed. He could still recall what he did to her seven years ago. He attempted to rape her. It wasn't rape for him but in the eyes of anyone who witnessed that, especially his dad and Ismael, it was considered as rape. He felt great when Naddie acted casual towards him, although he noticed that she was not comfortable in his presence.
She was still beautiful and she became more beautiful than before. He loved that doe-like eyes of hers and her rose red lips. He didn't want to put a lot of words to describe Naddie. He wanted to express it in one word: beautiful.
He felt restless. Marky got up from his bed and decided to wear a white polo and his white cotton pants. He pulled out his best dark tinted sunglasses and locked his suite. He wanted to entertain himself and stroll around the resort. When he passed by the receptionist area, he didn't notice that look of admiration in the eyes of Veronica Celoza, the beautiful receptionist. She smiled when she saw Marky. How she wanted to run and chase him to tell her name! But she sadly sat there and flipped the pages of the record book.
Marky took off his slippers and carried them instead when his feet touched the warm sand. He smiled as he walked along the seashore. He really missed this beach. He was a great head-turner. Every girl smiled and looked at him whenever he passed by. He would just grin as he looked at their bodies through his sunglasses. His thoughts became perverted again, thankfully, he was too tired to give attention to the sexual desire that he felt when he passed by a girl who wore a black two-piece bikini. He decided to wade the waters. His feet were soaked at the shallow waters when he saw Naddie from a distance.
She was wearing a wet loose white t-shirt and short denim shorts. He smiled. He noticed that a big German Shepherd was chasing her along the shallow waters. As Naddie passed by him, Marky kneeled to catch the great dog with his arms. He held the dog's paws as if he was holding a girl's hands. The dog barked happily when it saw the man's irresistable grin.
Naddie kept running. She looked behind her and saw Marky as he held the paws of her pet. She turned and walked back. She tapped his shoulder. He looked up to her.
"Nice GC, Naddie," he smiled mysteriously. In Naddie's position, he could see what's inside her shirt through the loose neckline.
"GC?"
"Uh.. I mean, GS. German Shepherd." He turned to look at the dog and he patted it's head.
"That's Barky," she said as she leaned down and placed her hands on her knees. "He's one special GS."
"Barky." He smirked and glanced at her. "Sounds like Marky, huh?"
She turned her head away from him. She didn't want him to see her blush.
"Did you know that I love dogs?" Marky spoke again as he ran his fingers through Barky's soft fur.
"No." Naddie looked at Barky and stroked his fur too. "Seems like both of us are dog lovers."
"We sound so compatible, huh?" He grinned as he kept on running his fingers through the dog's fur and his hand touched her hand. They looked at each other's eyes.
Veronica sighed hopelessly when she saw Marky with Naddie.
If only, I am a rich girl who can mingle with you, Mark Andres.., she thought as two tourists passed by where Veronica stood.
"How long are you going to pretend?" a girl asked her companion.
"I don't know," the other replied. "But when Henry and I got married, I'm gonna lie on diamonds. He wouldn't find out that I wasn't really his childhood sweetheart and then, bye-bye poverty for me!" She laughed like an evil witch.
As the two women walked away, Veronica had an idea. She would pretend so that she could get the chance to talk to Mark Andres. She didn't know how long it would take, but she hoped that when Mark Andres fell in love with her, he could accept her true identity.
"Why don't we take a lunch together, Naddie?" Marky asked as Naddie pulled away her hand from the dog's fur.
Naddie held Barky's collar and smiled. "Well.."
Before she could reply, a set of girls in their sexiest swimsuits crowded around Marky. They were so many that they managed to push Naddie away from him. They kept screaming and screeching like they've seen a celebrity, some kept pushing the other away from Marky and some tried to touch him.
"What's your name?"
"Can we date?"
"Where's your suite?"
"You're so gorgeous!"
"Are you a foreigner?"
"What's your tv show?"
"Do you like me?"
There were more questions and praises that could be heard from these girls and Marky seemed to enjoy their attention and attraction.
"Take it easy, ladies. I'm not going away too soon," he grinned as he tried to calm down the wild crowd.
Naddie shook her head and rolled her eyes. She felt Barky's paws on her bare foot. She looked down to the innocent dog who seemed to beg her to take him back to their suite.
She smiled as she sat down to pat it's head. "You hungry, huh, Barky?"
The dog barked twice and Naddie stood up to pull him away from the shallow waters. "C'mon Barky.." She took a short glance at Marky and the girls then back to Barky. "Your daddy Marky's too busy with his girls."
After she told that to her dog, which she considered as her baby, they walked back to the hotel.
Shit. Naddie left me, Marky thought when he managed to escape the crowd of girls. He managed to make them quarrel about who he would date this week. They were too busy arguing that they didn't notice that he already left.
Marky quickly went to the shade of the tall coconut tree and leaned his back to it's trunk. As his eyes looked at the beach, he saw a woman that rose from the water near where he stood. She pulled back her wet hair with her hands and grinned when she saw his stare.
He grinned at the girl who looked so sexy on her red swimsuit. The girl walked towards him.
"Hi," she spoke as she played a smile on her lips.
"Marky," he quickly introduced himself.
"Ronnie."
"Ronnie?"
"I'm Veronica, a tourist, but you can call me Ronnie, please."
Marky grinned and his eyes explored her whole body. With just one look, he already identified the size of her waist, bust and breasts. He shook his head. He could get satyriatic in any minute if he didn't stop to stare at her wonderland body.
She saw him shook his head and it made her worry. "Disappointed?"
He grinned at her. "Be confident, woman. We'll meet again. One of these days."
Marky pulled her near and kissed her cheek. After that, he let go of her and left. He would be looking for Naddie. As for Veronica, she felt like she melted when he kissed her. Her plan worked!
