Pen Pals

Hey YWSers!
Considering the fact that this website is a community for budding authors I think it would be great if we make pen pals here.
Pen pals are people who don't know each other in real life and exchange emails (or PMs in our case) to tell something about their world to the other person.
I think it's a great way to make friends and improve your language.
So who else likes this idea?

We pretty much already have pen pals, Spike. A lot of us have invited each other over Facebook, actually. Only thing is to be safe, I guess.

Yea what hero said, a lot of the people I talk to the chat room in are my friends on facebook. Plus I think this naturally happens

I agree with day agreeing with hero I have talked to people back and forth for a few months on here. It slowly dwindled off then it would start up again and so on.

I have PM convos with other members once in a while too! Not as often as I'd like, but they're extremely fun. All it takes is one PM to start a conversation! ;D

I wasn't aware people still saw the whole "pen pal" aspect anymore. I speak with people from different countries regularly, some for several years now. Rather than language, it helps broaden my view of the world and viewing my own culture.

I'm already used to this kinds of stuffs. Gained a lot of friends through the internet.

This is sort of already a pen pal site. Everyone talks to each other and learns new things. I guess it would be cool, but we're already doing it. There's even a chat room!

P.S. Actually, TheNewHero, I never thought about finding people on Facebook. Maybe it's something to do with the fact that I think Facebook is an evil, mind-sucking corporation (sort of like Disney, don't ask me why.)

I'd love to have a penpal. I used to have one but then we fell out of contact. I miss her...
I'm always happy to talk to anyone if anyone wants to talk.

I like the idea.
