Thick-set clouds horde indigo majesty,
Each moment disperses in hushed serenity,
Dismal stillness, amid no apathy
Commencing from wandering fiends.
No reflections towards what we mere boulders endure.
We have no voice, in which we can speak,
Our sorrows, hope and elation we experience,
But above all grief for loss of movement
And speech, deprived of fundamental entities.
Nor touch of hue to express inventiveness
We be plain and unadorned,
Thought we contain no opinion of our own,
Since we do not speak and operate like typical beings.
Do they feel we enjoy being tossed, into rivers so immense?
Drowning us with one fatal hurl from blundering dim mortals.
But what is a boulder?
When others can discern magnetic forces by us concealed
We are firmly planted in the moist earth
Our cousins reside on sandy shores
For we are the boulders
Somewhat unnoticed,
Forever, obscure by those exceeding us.
Each moment disperses in hushed serenity,
Dismal stillness, amid no apathy
Commencing from wandering fiends.
No reflections towards what we mere boulders endure.
We have no voice, in which we can speak,
Our sorrows, hope and elation we experience,
