Hey! I love this poem! I'm a sucker for a good haiku (forgive me if i spelled that wrong) and I love how this poem gives a general idea that people can understand under many different situations. I'd love to read more of your work so keep posting and I'd love to know what possessed you to write this.

Reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. Or rather, this one series by Caroline B. Cooney- though, darn, the title escapes me! However, I do so enjoy it. The imagery I'd gotten was hard (almost metallic), but the message I'd received was much softer, sweeter. Thanks for sharing!

Wait.. but doesn't morse code use sounds to communicate? Unless you meant actually writing down the dots and lines... then I guess that would work. Or, you may have meant that even though they're saying you can't do something, you're still doing it. In that case, I agree with the above comment in that this sounds like Romeo and Juliet.
Anyway. Rambling aside, I like this. Sorry for such a small review, again. Not much to say to haiku.
