There once was a girl,
Scared of everything,
She thought of herself,
As a worthless void,

She was bullied,
By peers,
And beat,
By siblings.

Her parents were gone,
Both had left.
She thought this too,
Was her fault at best.

She was hated by all,
But never knew why.
Most of the time,
She wanted to cry.

She began learning,
The power of kindness,
The power of hope,
And vowed to be kind,
To every dope.

She hoped her kindness,
Would earn some in return,
But it took years,
Before some was shown.

She became a Freshmen,
And met many who were kind.
But by then,
She didn’t want it.

She didn’t believe she was worthy,
Of this precious gift.
But it wouldn’t go away,
Then the kindness increased.

She loved to write,
And Googled that one night,
She came upon this site,
And met so many who were so kind.

She could not believe it,
But loved,
And still does love,
Every minute of it.

Thank you all so much for being so kind to me. I’m not worth it, nor do I deserve it, but I could never thank you all enough. You are the best, and I love you all and thank you so much.

Great job and message. Continue writing please! and know that everyone is worth it. Keep fighting your feelings of self-dread. It is an unfortunate reality that most people hate themselves, but when you discover yourself and realize that there are people who love you, it gives you meaning to live and fight those feelings of depression. Keep fighting and know that there are people out there who you have helped and love you every day.

I love the title!! It's very true! This is really good and I loved it!

On the second stanza, I'm thinking you may want to beef it up a little bit--compared to the others it seems a little emaciated. Grammar and punctuation are fabulously done!! Great job with that and keep writing!!!
