This is just a style I'm playing around with; i'd like to hear what people think works, doesn't work... be honest!

Fly, hurdle, spree!
Free!
Can't catch me, I'm what the blind man sees
What the deaf man wishes he could hear
I'm too fast to fear
I turn far into near
I'm that fast, man.
I'm what the racecars chase,
What the almighty gods face
When the disgrace the mirror.
I'm the cat's meow, the sweat off your brow,
The who, the what and the how
Outta here lickety split,
Can't catch this shit,
Roll, tumble, spree!
Free!

I'm what the teacher teaches
What the preacher preaches
What the madman screeches
From the room at the end of the hall
I'm taller than tall
The up that won't fall
Free!
I'm the chidhood dream,
The frothy whipped cream,
The clothy, thick scream
That you just can't hold back.
I'm the attack
-Don't fall back!-
I'm the red, the white and the black
Me!

When I take a break
Mortal men shake and cry
Trees quake, fall and die.
When I sleep rivers freeze
DOn't ask what happens when I sneeze
I'm the degenerate goddess of who-gives-a-fuck
Ran out of luck
Buck stops here
Tear, tear.
Is this a dream?
Hook rope over beam
Scream
Becuase I really have tried
But when godliness fails try suicide
Brighter on the other side.
I'm the song the world dances to
The rhyme the world romances to
I'm he sublime chime
The lime light you wish lit you
The dog you wish bit you
The fist you wish hit you.
I'm he kissed, the missed,
the everloving dissed
because you can't take me straightfaced,
Can't make me straight-laced
Can't school me, fool me
Can't rule me with your musty old books
Can't woo me with your trusty good looks
I'm above that shit.

Above tears and sweating,
Above love and letting someone it
How's that for sin?
Don't try and tell me otherwise.
This is how a good woman dies:
letting go
After all the yesses, one big no
Goodbye dresses, blesses,
Tresses that bounce and curl
I was afternoon's girl
What the flag unfurled for.
So I climb the ladder to the rope
Choke back tears
Swallow back fears
The angel cheers my brave decision
The first incision
The last division
Swing, dangle, die
My legacy and I
Free.

This was really fun to read! :D
The only problem was, I found it hard to grasp what the message was... What the poem was about...
But the way that it's all worded, and all of the words you've used; yes, I like this poem!
I don't really know what else to say. As far as I can see, there's nothing else to critisise :D
I like this! Xxxx
I want to play a game.

I don't quite get the meaning of it. It's fantastic, and was detailed enough for me to picture some things.

I loved that poem!
At first I was simply enjoying the swift tempo and clever rhyming, until it reached the second half, and took on a new meaning. It becomes a lot darker, but I really loved it and the way you executed the change was great :) It was really enjoyable, the rhyming was fantastic and I thoroughly loved it :)
