Hey all, I would like to start by saying hello, as this is my first post...

I would also like to take the time to pose a question to everyone out there..

Are you interested in comedy stories/novels?

If so, what books or stories appeal to you most?

I am currently writing a very satirical comedy novella. I would say Kurt Vonnegut has been a major inspiration. Right now I am reading the Naked Lunch, got to say that its pretty out there..but definitely filled with lots of interesting and comedic situations.
I don't know how to play chess, but to me, life is like a game of chess

I luuurve comedy. Unfortunately, it seems like the only stuff I can find is fan-fiction (the antithesis of fan-fiction). Otherwise, "The Pirates of Turtle Rock" was hilarious (they all died, too--more or less)...
...Can't think of anything else...
Well, "The Reformed Vampire Support Group" was also slightly humorous...
Ah! And "Gulliver's Travels" is great satire.
My SPD senses are tingling.
