I have to say that it doesn't take long stanzas and pages of descriptive writing to make a poem. Your poem is perfect in it's simplicity and unique because of that. It's a great staring point and I hope to read more!
If you want to be a great writer, don't think about what you're going to write, just write it.
I'm a huge fan of writers block! When your brain halts, with no direction for where you should go, it gives you threads. All you have to do is pull and unravel the story you're meant to write.
I find this poem very refreshing and unique.It kind of brings us all back to those days of stuffed animals and just being a kid. This poem, I don't know why, reminds me of The Velveteen Rabbit. I loved that book. I think this poem will touch everyone, reflecting on all those good childhood memories. Fantastic!!!!
