What happened? I don't want to talk about it.

Anger was filled up inside me. Not normal anger that just sits in one spot, the anger that spreads everywhere all over my body.
The window was slightly open letting in the cold snowy breeze.

Now you ask "Why are you angry?".
My answer: I have no freaking idea.

So really, I couldn't help you there. Sorry.

I sat on the old worn old leather couch as my best friend sat right next to me causing me to jump a little.
Her blond hair bounced in her high ponytail.

"What's gonna happen now?" she asked in a soft voice.

I lift my head up and look at her clover leaf green eyes. The funny thing is, she's always loved clovers'.

"Why should I care...?" I hissed.

Our friend, Joe, sat across from us on the leather loveseat.
He flipped his hazelnut colored bangs and looked at us.

"You know that he..." I cut him off.

"I. Don't. Care." I said angrily.

When he said "he" he meant by my use to be best friend --Drake. Me and Drake used to be, like they say "Two peas in a pod," but ever since that happened... uh, I don't even wanna mention it. But clearly so you could know what's going on, I'll risk my ignorance and tell you everything. And yes, that will be alot.

It started about, let's say, (I don't really remember) three years ago.
Drake and I were hanging out at his house playing some Twister.

"Watch out Izzy!" he said holding in his laughter.

My left foot laid on the yellow and my left hand all the way on the red.
He was spread out on top of me.

"Don't even dare to fall." I demanded.

I felt him laughing on top of me and I started to chuckle.
That caused us to fall down onto the plastic rug covered in spots.

"I told you!" I yelled in bettween laughs.

He didn't say anything but continued to laugh. These were the times when I was the happiest, just me and Drake.

He was on top of me and we looked at at each. Our laughter was still there as I pushed him off of me.

Wait, this is the wrong memory! Uh, I can't even think right when I want to tell someone something.

Here's what happened...

I slammed my locker door and noticed that my dark brown haired Drake was standing in front of me.

"Hey," he greeted.

"Hey," I replied with a smile.

His blue eyes reminded me of the Baltic Sea, we visited Poland that summer.
I saw that his backpack was slung over his shoulder just like mine as we walked down the long narrow blue and white hall.

"What class do we have now?" We had the same schedule in eigth grade.

"Um, I think Math." he replied.

"Crap! I forgot my homework!"

He laughed and showed his pearly whites. I felt my ponytail bounce against my back as we took each step.

"Ah, it's okay. Mrs. Summer's won't really mind." he moaned.

Then something that I don't even wanna remember happened. Do I seriously have to tell you about this before I tell you about what happened now? Actually, yes.

We turned left when I noticed that we got closer to the classroom.

Before you think "You turned him down because he was a...?" I'll answer this. No, he was not a nerd nor a jock. Nothing near that even.
He was just a normal guy. Pouplar people pushed us away all the time. We were in the, what I call "Normals".

"Iz...?" he echoed.

I wasn't concentrating because I was day dreaming about my crush Aaron. He was just perfect. One, I never believed anyone was perfect but he just was. Aaron was a quarterback on the schools football team. He joined the Science club. He was on the school council, like me. He was everywhere.

"Iz...?" This time he yelled it.

"What?" I came back to reality.

"Gosh, I can't even talk to you normally." he wined.

I rolled my eyes. "Sorry, what did you want?"

He took a deep breath. He knew about my huge crush to Aaron, but he thought I got over it already. I liked him ever since sixth grade!

He brushed his hair with his hand and stopped walking. As we stood there I noticed that he was a little taller than me.

"Izzy do you wanna hang out Saturday?" he asked quietly.

Now, to me that was a normal question. We were best friends so I was like "Hey, that's a stupid question..." did I say that? No.

"Um, what do you mean by that?" my body started to shiver.

To ask a friend to hangout, he was stressing out way too much.

"Sorry, I meant. Would you want to go out with me Saturday?"

Now, you see there? Go out and hangout probably mean the same thing but sound completly differently when you say it.

My heart froze in it's place and my eyes got wider.
What did he just ask?

"Drake, are you okay?" I asked nervously.

Those days my only love was Aaron Kelborn and Daniel Radcliffe. So this just blew my top off.

I saw his cheeks grow pink and he was breathing fast.

"Yeah, I'm fine." he chucked out.

He looked like he was going to throw up.
We were getting late to class, no one was in the halls. The sun shone through the window we were standing by so I closed my eyes so the light wouldn't blind me.

"We gotta head to math." I turned him down by avoiding the subject all over.

Ever since then he didn't even bother to look at me. Not once.
Wow am I a heartbreaker...

Now let's get back to the present.
Whoa! I forgot to tell you why I'm mad at him now. How could I forget what just happened an hour or so ago...

You see, he moved to England for a school trip (it's one for students who want to get a scholarship for Oxford University).
When he moved I just cheered all day. We were enemies then, it was the start of ninth grade.
Our families were really close --connected since our parents went to high school.

My mom thought that every time I mentioned "I hate him!" that I was pulling her leg. Yeah right.

So for like a year he was gone. Not here. Poof.

Until one day when he, um, it's so hard to say this! MOVED BACK. That was eaiser than I thought...

I was in Video class sitting with me best friend Kelsej (read: Kelsey), listening to Mr. Bourns went on and on about how to make a video fade.
Then someone knocked on the huge black door. Time went by slow once it opened and I barley recognized who it was.
My heart beated fast, faster than lightning hitting the ground.

Kelsej pulled my arm but I didn't react. All I did is stare at his taller more muscular figure. He noticed me as well and held a stare.

"Oh, welcome Mr. Logston!" Mr. Bourns got off his leather black chair.

"Good morning Mr. Bourns."

The video teacher lead him to the computer next to us. "You can sit here." he said and left my mouth wide open.
What he said next flew in from one ear and and left the other.

A month had past. We had to put up with each other during class, family meets, lunch, even walks home! It was torture.
We said maybe just five words to each other, that's it.
But for the past few weeks we have gotten much closer, from hate -- to friends (very lose hanging "friends".).

Our class had to go on a field trip to the Museum of Science and Industry and as coincidence goes, we got chosen together as partners even though I begged and pleaded Mr. Bourns not to.

We had no other choice but to talk. Then everything spit out. We talked about England, dating (not each other, don't think that I'm that stupid!), school... alot. We connected but not enough to be back as best friends.
The truth is and I couldn't hide it, I found him more attractive.

In middle school I barely found anyone attractive, it just wasn't my time to date. One huge crush and that's it. I was still a kid back then. He was pretty cute but the truth is, I wasn't ready for guys and dating then.

High school hit me hard when it came to dating.

I liked him. A stupid crush. That's what I felt.
Did I ever admit it? NO!

Here's what happened today:

Drake came over to study with me. We had no other choice really, we were Science partners.
All the books were laid down all over my wooden floors as I flipped through the pagers of the Chemistry book.

"Find anythin'?" Drake spoke up after the ten minute silence.

"No, you...?"

Those were pretty much our only words. We are very deep in our books, when we study that is.

"Yeah,"

I jumped off my daybed and sat next to him. The warmth of his body traveled to mine. Yes, I still had that damn crush on him.

His index finger pointed to the topic: Animals When They Migrate.

A smile grew on my face as I hugged him.
His arms wrapped around me and I felt safe. Just safe.

Oh, I forgot to mention, he joined the soccer team. Shock, not really. He's always loved soccer. But now he's more built and well, handsome.

"Finally!" I said with excitment.

I pulled away as my heart raced. Everytime I had some type of contact with him my heart was on a race track. Vroom, Vroom!

He looked into my light blue eyes as I looked into his.
There was a moment of silence when all we did is look at each other. It's like we were trying to read each other's minds.

We were still holding each other.
Right then and there I would have kissed him, but I didn't have to make the move.

His lips layed against mine and I didn't pull away. I kissed him right back. The kiss was soft but exciting. This was my first kiss.

I felt his hands run through my hair and we landed on the floor. He was on top of me. Or lips were still touching. Everything in me was tingling from happiness.

But that is not why I got pissed at him.

Oh my god! That was so good! You must write the next part! I'm hooked already! So, the only thing I noticed was the repitition of saying you were mad at him and not explaining why. I'm not sure if you were trying to emphasise it or not, but it was not needed. However, I honestly loved this. Please message me when you write the next part! Keep it up, you've got a neat story in your hands! (or should I say, notebook) =]

Hello there. :)

The window was slightly open comma letting in the cold snowy breeze.

I sat on the old worn old leather couch as my best friend sat right next to me comma causing me to jump a little.

"I told you!" I yelled in between laughs.

Overall impression! This has a lot of potential, and it seems like a good beginning. You were able to get the readers hooked, and thats good, and I'm still debating if I like that you haven't provided the ending... Hopefully there's another part? the only thing that I have to say is the "interuptions" throughout the story. Apart from that it's pretty good!

Keep writing! :)

I reallly liked this and think you need to make it into a novel. although I do think you emphasized the fact that she hated him way to much, but I guess you know that.
when you grow up you realize that Prince Charming is not as easy to find as you thought. You realize the bad guy is not wearing a black cape and he's not easy to spot; he's really funny, and he makes you laugh, and he has perfect hair and isnt wearing a black cape and easy to spot Lots of Love Jenn

Hey Kaka here to reveiw..
Well I liked you story. It was descriptive but it didn't really bring me anywhere. I felt exactly as an onlooker. Like I was just looking through blurry glass. At times I can see clearly but then it all fades.
I liked the general idea but it was to stand off-ish.. if that makes sense ;)
I needed even more emotion then what was on offer, like I needed to dig deeper.
Also you didn't include why you were angry, I know maybe that's how you want it to be it's just that why did you tell us all of the rest of it-what happened, and your description of your anger but I found myself getting a little bored as I had no reason behind it all.

Otherwise it was quite good but has the potential to be better. Work on using powerful literature and imagery helps to.
Use basics like:
Metaphors
Personification
Adjectives

Good luck with the rest of your story
