The Mind Rain ( An Uglies/ Brady Bunch Parody )

Hey! Um... I once read a book called Uglies by Scott Westerfeld and enjoyed the series a ton. I suggest reading them if you haven't, if you haven't read them, this might not make any sense at all. I just wrote this cause it was fun to do with my friend, and I thought you might enjoy it also. I know it's kinda stupid-- but hey why not?

Here's a story,
of a pair of Uglies,
who are waiting for the day they turn 16.
For on that day,
they will be pretty,
have bubbly boyfriends who drink too much champange.

And when they're pretty,
they will have parties,
with their friends in New Pretty Town.
They will join cliques,
such as tech-heads,
Neo-foodies, cutters, hot airs and crims.

But being pretty,
isn't so bubbly,
being pretty makes you a bubble head.
And then there was,
The New System,
and The New System brought the Mind Rain.

I just have one thing to say, it starts off saying "Here's a story, of a pair of Uglies..." and then it goes into the mind rain, like you change from a story of Uglies to the New System.

Otherwise, I enjoyed this very much and it made me laugh. Really clever, Teardrop!
