Our souls are in danger, our souls have lost
We have done the damage but are refusing to pay the cost
We have stood for what we believed in.
And fought for what we could
We have forgotten the hopes
And have ignored the things we should
We think we are in control, that everything will be fine
But we need to own up to what we did
Before we run out of time
We ignore what we feel
And drown in this pride
We think we are always safe
If we have somebody by our side
We know our strong points
And our weakest too
But in the end were always left with nothing to do
This is why we need to stand
This is why we speak
To tell our story to the world
And confess when we were weak
We thought we could get through this
Because we thought we knew it all so well
But what have we done when were listening to a girl who has no story to tell

Some of us are falling
Some of us cant stand
Some of us need help
Some of us need a hand
But they forget that were even here
But what they don’t understand is that were tired of this doubt and fear
We need a leader someone who will fight
Fight for what we stand for
Fight for what is right
Because when you feel alone, and you cant even count
All the times we were called worthless
All the times we had to do without
We just need somebody to catch us when we fall
We need somebody to conquor our fears and take care of us all
Maybe you don’t know it
But try to think again
The people who are lost…
Just need a friend.
So before we fall even farther
Before we cant see our way through
We just need a leader.
And maybe that leader is you

Meh, I try not to bag on other people's hard work, but I didn't really dig this as much as I feel as I should of. I loved the message, but I don't think the tempo and rythem of the rhyme was set correctly, and needed some more baking. Some verses were longer than others, and threw it off. In the beginning I kinda feel like you're trying to save my soul. (My soul has had enough saving thank you.) I know you don't mean it that way but it's what it feels like, a little condemning. But this is just my opinion, and don't take advice from a person who shoots themselves in the foot. (This is a figure of speech, mind you.) I just mean that if you don't think the advice is worthy, don't take it.

First of all if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything at all. Like your the one who should be judging others people work? Uh no sweetie. Your's is definately not better than mine. And you act like I wrote this poem for you, uhh no? haha honey I wouldnt save your soul even if you asked me too. So if you dont have anything to say but insults then keep your mouth shut and dont read any more of my poems.

This poem is awesome. I love the message, because most people just don't understand how desperately others could use their help. We all need a leader to help guide us through life. Even though it was great, your poem does need a bit of tweaking. It feels as if you have two different poems, one being about paying the price for our mistakes, and the other about needing a leader. Maybe you should work on the organization of your poem, some more. I'm not going to tell you what to do, because it is your poem and that's your job. I hope this this helps you in someway.
