Spoiler
I hadn't written anything for the longest time out of discourgement, but I'm back and I hope to stay.

I’ve been gone for awhile.
I didn’t plan to come back.
But something called me,
the voice of habit.

Anger swells as tension builds,
And the urge to lay it out,
is something I cant resist.
To put it all in black and white,
and this feeling will presist.

I left this world,
threw it all away.
I was done with this.
Yet here I am
and I think I plan to stay.

Welcome back, screamandshout! I liked this for a very simple reason: I can relate.

Now, I'm going to go through and make some pointers about punctuation and things like that, but that's just so you can show your readers that you are capable of mastering the English language (something I know you can do from what you've showed me here).

So here we go with my easy-to-fix pointers:

I’ve been gone for awhile.
I didn’t plan to come back.
But something called me:
the voice of habit.

Anger swells as tension builds,
and the urge to lay it out, <--It's hard to see, but take out that comma.
is something I can't resist.
To put it all in black and white,
and this feeling will persist.

See? Tiny changes!

I enjoyed this, scream, and I expect to see much more from you in the future! I'm following you now, so be expecting another review from your friendly neighborhood Lumi anytime now! ;)

Same situation, welcome back to you! :) Congratulations to you, and this is a very nice little poem to celebrate.

As Lumi said, watch out for some little nit-picky things. Also, yes, the topic should be explored more, even if you're going to keep the poem small. Maybe some more imagery, more descriptive words to add some spice?

Just some ideas. Keep writing, and never be discouraged!
The wittiest thing is the simple truth.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
