She isn't my lover, or secret admirer,
She isn't the girl i want, but i'll never let her go,
She isn't my dog, or a beloved lost pet,
Im not her super man, nor do I deserve to.

Some friends see her, the barbie doll, others see her wall,
Just like me and you she hides behind that wall,
She tries to dismantle it, to become the ballerina we all hide,
Like so few, she tries, fighting against her captors
pummeled and beaten, bloody and bruised.

Where's the boys? who needs them for more then friends?
There's ones she feels she trusts, you know; the trust you feel you love?
Her trust was misplaced, her love gone to waist,
He, like her captors, gave memories to last,
Pummeled and beaten, bloody and bruised.

Devastated and misconstrued, lost in a haze.
She searches for ways to dismantle the pain,
finding her relief in physical destruction
One...Two...Three,
The lines on her legs no longer hiding with discretion.
Pummeled and beaten, bloody and bruised.

She finds a dead end, a cliff to give her ease.
Her captors, her boyfriend, little razor blades.
The pain was to much, she wants a quick end,
Her past memories haunt her dreams
Gouls, ghosts, and goblins
Pummeled and beaten, bloody and bruised.

The question isn't who will be her savior.
That question is irrelevant.
What matters now is who are you.
The captors, the boy, the sharp razor edge?
Friends are gifts we give ourselves,
give yourself a gift, and be a gift to someone else.
Were stronger together, then we ever will be alone.

Hello and welcome to the Young Writers Society! How did you found this website? And do you enjoyed staying at this site? Here's a little that I want to review.

She isn't my lover, or secret admirer,
She isn't the girl i want, but I'll never let her go,
She isn't my dog, or a beloved lost pet,
I'm not her super man, nor do I deserve to.

Some friends see her, the barbie doll, others see her wall,
Just like me and you she hides behind that wall, I think this should be separate.

Anyway, I liked it and really enjoyed reading it. I hope that you will write more in the future.

Keep writing,

The wince that you wince when you see your quote in the quote generator is quite a wince, I tell ya. To know that the whole YWS community has read and judged your quote is quite an awkward feeling like oh noes. *manly blush*
