Can you hear him?
Can you hear the sound of the world?
The trembling melodies
Of ingenious methods
Of combinations and flirtations
The prickly strings that
Cause the ringing of bells
In your ears
Do you hear him?
He's using his fingers to bind
The world together
To make all people
United in one way
The start of a tradition
Of how the world will be
He will use the strings of sound
To astonish the world
And his fingers tickle
But he keeps surprising
He continues the ringing
The ceaseless, blissful ringing
In your ears
Can you hear him?

The ones built to amaze
To astonish the world

good poem.
"the beauty of words. They can be many different things to many different people. It's all in how we listen. Or how we read." - Lyrical Inspiration (authors note) of Enemies and Playmates by Darcia Helle
