One of God’s Wonders

A ball of flame, hot and white
Red and orange shining, yellow giving light
Purple, pink wisps of air
Perfect wonder everywhere

Light and warmth dance on every beam
Inspiration sewn into every seam
Clear and crisp, glowing brightly
Muted and smeared, fading slightly

Soul and mind intensely struck
Afire with timing’s luck
Enraptured with such a glorious view
Drinking in each gilded hue

Awesome power radiating outward
Truth and amazement penetrating inward
Words and processes lost completely
Senses and memories felt so deeply

Brooke M. Amick

Well, go for broke guys and rip it to shreds! I don't usually do rhymes because they seem so "quaint" and trivial to me. So, lets hear what you all have to say.
William Faulkner said, "the young writer is … demon-driven and wants to learn and has got to write though he don't know why, he will learn from almost any source that he finds. He will learn from older people who are not writers, he will learn from writers, but he learns it."

The only awkward rhyme to me was "inward:outward," but other than that, I liked it.

You used words really good...That sounds weird to say. "Hey! You use words good!" :D

All we can do is our best, and hope that it was enough.
