Much can be partained by pictures,
Therefore I try to paint a picture with words,
With colors and feelings and smells and sights.
But you cannot trust in me, trust your imagination for the thrill...
Yellow, Red, Orange swirls of color pop,
Cool wind lashes my face and body,
Soon rain drenches me head to toe,
But I must push for there is a path I must take to finish my journy.
I jump and land among the stars for a peaceful rest,
But I know I must leave soon,
I come down and continue on my way yet with happiness,
But I must push for there is a path I must take to finish my journy.
When I come to a cliff I must jump,
And pray to the Lord of wings,
I make it across only to have the harsh smiles of twisted trees greet me,
But I must push for there is a path I must take to finish my journy.
And when I can run no more,
My lungs burst and head twirls with the sights I've seen,
Although I've come this far, I know it is only half of what I must endure,
But I must push for there is a path I must take to finish my journy.
And when I have completed my course of life,
I slide in to greet death with a smile at the last moment,
For I have seen the world and taken it's ups and downs first hand,
Now I am satisfied for I have come to my destination, a calm, eternal rest in the loving palm of God...
