You always come up with such cool ideas for short stories, they're so much fun :) I love the way you write. It's so easy for the reader to immerse themself in the text. I feel like I'm watching every scene play out like a film - your use of descriptive language is just right. Can't wait to read more of you writing. :)

i really liked it! it drew me in right away, and i wanted to read more after i finished the last sentace.i was kind of confused about what kind of disease that the king had, and what the fish, or the purple plants where called though. i think you maybe should have named them, even if it was just some random thing you came up with off the top of your head. it woud have made more of an impact. also, if this were olden times, how would they manage to break down the fish into a 10x more powerful liquid? maybe you could describe that a little better. i liked the fact that you showed the tip of the lying iceburg first, to make the reader think that the only thing the maid was lying about was the fact that she didn't like yellow, but then you go deeper and show that the servent is a spy. i <3 that. i thought your descriptive words were very good, going in detail in the blood scene was a good idea. it gave the reader a sense of exactly how desperate the situation was. =) overall, very good!!
