It’s not as strong as it once was
The binds that tie me and you.
Why is it the saddest things
Are always true?
I know exactly the disappointment you’re feeling,
Because heaven really is, nothing but a beautiful ceiling.

We’ll make it through,
Even though it’s been said before,
The sky has been red before
Somehow now it’s blue.
Just like that,
We will make it through.

Just like tomorrows cruel appeal
I always run back too.
I’ll put my foolish faith in you
Even though you’ll let me down again
Just like I shouldn’t trust tomorrow
I will always cling onto you

But we will make it through,
You know I can’t let go of you
A chink in my amour you’re always there
Even though I fall through air
I feel safe for a glorious moment
When I believe we will make it through

And someday I’ll come to my senses
And see the world through sharper lenses
But for now I’m happy, believing so
Never afraid of the day you simply go
No, I cannot, I will not think of things like that
Instead, I’ll think simply of you
Miraculously making it through.

Oh, if you only knew
How much I believe
We will make it through
You wouldn’t ever doubt
How much
I’m desperately in love with you
We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Oscar Wilde.

okay... Hi! I'll review your song today! I thought that it was nice. At some parts I lost my place and had to look back-It makes sense but I couldn't imagine the way it would sound as a song just yet. You do need to at some more feeling into it. All in All: Great it's very nice and keep on writing!

Hey there. This isn't a bad start, but one thing these lyrics could really benefit from is proper punctuation. Right now, it's really difficult to follow what's going on. Even though the formats are different, lyrics are punctuated the same as prose and follow the same rules of grammar. Another thing that makes this difficult to follow is the lack of spacing between verses and choruses (if you even have any). It's unclear where the verses end, which makes it difficult to see/feel the pattern and flow to the lyrics, and lyrics need that clear pattern/flow. I also caught a couple of spelling/grammar errors ("too" instead of "to"), so taking a closer look at that while you go back through and add punctuation.
