Wow. Opinions? You'll get my full review later...When I wake up...
"There's a light at each end of this tunnel,
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around."

I have not yet seen it, but I was wondering if it DID really happen or they're just saying that. Like with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. My real question is, did either of them happen?
I think they did though, I've been looking it up on Google and there's been pictures and everything. I've yet to find anything on Emily Rose, so I have my doubts.

Well, it probably did happen, but I'm sure it that the girl was just crazy (That goes for any Exorcist movie or the Amityville Horror) and everyone just thought she was "possessed".

It looks pretty cool, I just want to know if its Pg-13 or R. Although if its R I can buy a ticket for a kid movie and then sneak into Emily. *Shifty eyes*
Gotta a find a woman be good to me,
Who won't hide my liquor, try to serve me tea.

Actually most people who were possessed in the past (i'm talking about the long past) were actually just ill.

Now a days we have doctors, so that no longer happens (which is why the amount of 'possessions' has decreased). Those who claim they have a demon inside of them usually end up in a padded room with drugs to help them out.

However, there is the occasional case where someone just plain lies. They claim they're possessed, even though they know their not.

I saw a program in which a girl was presented. Her and most of her familly claimed she was possessed. They had a priest over, as well as a scientists.
She spoke in a deep voice (just like in the movies) which she shouldn't have been able to do for a prolonged amount of time without damaging her voice.

They put a camera in her room. At one point, she was seen to go from just lying down to flying through the air - somthing her parents claimed was impossible.

Was she possessed?

Things to note:

1) her uncle said that he had overheared her practicing her 'demon voice'. Which explains how she could use it.
2) the cameras in her room had a very slowly frame rate. it wouldn't have been to hard for her to get onto her feet and jump forwards and give the desired look.

In short... no, she wasn't possessed. She was pretending. Lying.
I wrote the above just for you.

I have heard about this movie and I've seen the summary. It's really really intriguing. Can't wait to watch this.
I live not because God wants me to. But because I have the will to go on.LIFE IS HARD. And I don't know why. And I don't plan to understand.

I'm not one for scary movies, but I did like this movie. It was like a scary movie with a purpose, not to just scare the bejeebies out of you, though it wasn't that bad.

And I do believe in demon possessions. It isn't as common as it used to be, but it does still occur, particularly in third world countries.

As for the actual girl (who I believe was German, wasn't she?), I have no clue. The question remains whether or not believers can be possessed. I don't know enough about her case to know, and I don't care to dig deep into it.

The guy who made the movie, though, is a Christian, and said that the research phase of this project was the worst, and that he would never do it again.

But I think there was so much more to this movie than just scary scenes.

But I am glad my dog doesn't wake me up at 3 am every morning now... she waits till 4:38 ^_^
Your existence is overbearing.

This planet has - or rather had - a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much all of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movement of small green pieces of paper, which was odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy.
