You can run away,
From what means most to you
And you can run away,
From the place that feels most like home to you
You can run away,
From everything that matters to you
But I know you'll do what's right in the end
And that's all that matters to me
Dreams don't always have to exist while the sun's down and your eyes are shut.

Hi there
Um, this is different. It sure is deep and I like it. This is a very short and simple piece and I think it's great. The idea behind it is good and its not too serious; serious in the fact that its not like an ordinary poem. Its just some words put together effortlessly but the meaning is deeper beyond imagination (wow). It kind of leaves me in suspense also or hanging, hanging in a good way though. I like to think ahead, and I am wondering what the "right thing" in this particular matter will be. I like that. Good job and I would like to see more stuff like this from you hey.
The best is what you make it!

Short, sweet and to the point. Hi KAH!

Okay, I'll just give you an overview of my thoughts on this since I'm not a great poetry reviewer.

This is a really good start to something but it's very broad as far as your topic goes. You could do a lot of things with this. You could narrow it down to one smaller idea (what means most, home, everything that matter, me) and make it just one poem focusing on that idea. Or you could make it longer and look deeper into each topic.

And I like that you write in a freer form here too. It relates to the topic well.

I hope my poor poetry reviewing skills could help give you a new look at your poem. PM me with any questions though.

I liked it in the way that it condenses all that emotion into just one stanza, but maybe you might want to consider expanding it and then putting it into the lyrics section. Personally i think it might work better that way. Also, something that annoyed me just a bit was that last little line. I don't think you need to have that. I think its already implied. all in all it was good, and good luck on your future work.
Why was I born with such contemporaries?

I quite liked this piece, espiecially the twist ending. The imagry was fine and the word choice was up to a high standard. Oh, just one small thing, never put yourself down, a writer may do this but it is never justified. It is YOUR work, don't put it down or yourself,
