OK this is like the third part in my vampire novella, it's not a chapter but a part, please comment, I would really really appreciate it. Thanks!
I left the Feathered Hat that night around midnight, I was some what sober. After having the strongest drink Robin Hood could throw at me, by the way, I think it was Moonshine, isn't that stuff illegal?
Whatever, after that shot, I decided that club soda and I were going to be the best of friends for the rest of the evening.
The long walk to my little Beamer I was feeling a little better about myself, I mean hey Robin Hood gave me his digits, that should top of the night like a cherry tops off ice cream right? Wrong.
My newest problem was that I was numb from the neck down and not the other way around. My self loathing problems still buzzed around like busy bees, so annoying. This was not the buzz I had wanted at the beginning of the evening.
I sucked in a deep breath, fighting the tears and the emptiness. All I needed to do was go home and go to bed.
Fumbling with my car keys, I hadn't even thought the boogie man might be romping about, seeking whom he may devour.
This is New York I know, but boogie men live under the bed not in vacant parking lots. The keys to my red BMW 1 coupe, slipped from my clumsy fingers. I bent over to retrieve them and almost did a face plant.
“Damn moonshine.” I muttered standing up and unlocking the car door.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder, I jumped a foot, a little breathless scream echoing throughout the deserted parking lot.
Oh God the boogie man!
Turning around slowly, I found myself face to face with my dark beautiful stranger. My heart gave a little flip, he was even more gorgeous out here at night, those blue eyes like daggers.
“Good evening.” he greeted me, showing pearly white teeth.
I smiled hesitantly, feeling a slight pressure behind my eyes. Before I could answer him he lunged at me, smashing my up against the car. His bone crushing arms squeezed me tight, as the stranger bit down into my bare neck.
I screamed bloody murder, but my screams fell on deaf ears, as he continued to ravage on my neck. I struggled fighting my attacker as hard as I could, but my fists grew sluggish and my eyes started to dim.
I was out before you could say, knock out!
My last thought being, My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me, then it hit me. This was too dark a deed to have any connection to God, this was something darker, something eviler, this was a . . .blackout.
Voices, heated hateful voices filled my ears the next morning.
God why couldn't my roomies go and argue somewhere else, it's too early to be dealing with them.
I reached across the bed for an extra pillow to conceal the screaming feminine voice. With the pillow firmly in place, I inhaled deeply, the strangest aroma flowing into my nose.
Woodsy, sweet, sexy, masculine, damn fine.
I gasped, my eyes popping open, I sat up quickly throwing the pillow across the room. A room that defiantly wasn't mine, where was I?
I looked around the mysterious room, four grey walls stared at me, their nakedness irked my soul, there was one window, but it as hidden behind an armour, I realized that it was late at night. There was something else in the room that sent shivers down my spine, but I couldn't place it.
Had I slept all day long? Where was I at? Did I go home with Robin Hood?
Suddenly it all came back to me; the bar, the drinks, Emma, the dark stranger . . . my hand clamped over my mouth to keep me from screaming.
The handsome stranger, had attacked me, he bit me!
My fingers lightly touched at the right side of my neck, I felt to puncture wounds, I held in another scream.
Oh God what happened?
Throwing back the silky black sheet, I jumped from the bed, determined to get out. I noticed when I landed silently on the hard floor that I was just in my black lace bra and a high-waist tummy control shaper, not that I had any tummy problems, it just gave me that hourglass figure.
Had he- oh God I don't think I can even think that, please please! I prayed, scared out of my mind.
I was at the bedroom door, I didn't have time to look for my dress, I wanted out of here.
“You shouldn't have brought her here!” a female voice hissed, followed by a crashing noise.
I stilled, my kidnappers were home!
Fear rushed through me, I was a goner, I bit my lip trying not to cry.
The bedroom door was open a crack, I peeked out, hoping they wouldn't see me.
Two figures, two beautiful figures argued.
“I couldn't have just left her there, remember I have to keep my tracks covered.” the male sneered, I noticed that he was the one who had attacked me, the beautiful dark stranger.
The female jumped right in his face, her curly red hair flowing behind her at the quick movement.
“Did you ever think, that dumping her in a dumpster, would be considered covering your tracks?” she clucked her tongue, a smile forming on her perfect mouth. “Your getting soft in your old age.” she accused.
“Soft?” the male snarled, his hand coming up to grab at her white throat.
But before he could close, the female snaked around behind him, quicker then I have ever seen someone move, her lips pulled back in a snarl inches from his neck.
“Ha, slow and soft.” she laughed kissing his neck. “Two worst qualities in a-”
Before she could finish her sentence, dark stranger reached up behind him lightning fast taking her by her long strawberry blonde hair it seemed, and throwing her across the room.
I let out a little yelp, I couldn't have helped it. I had just witnessed a murder, or an attempt at one, listening to the way her body sounded when she hit whatever she hit made me sick to my stomach.
Poor girl, I thought. Then I began silently freaking out, what was going to happen to me!
I scurried back into the bland room, looking for a weapon of sorts, thinking if I was going to die, I wanted to go down fighting.
