[u]THE TRUE STORY OF MY DOG

Hercules

My father bought a horse for my mother on her birthday 'cause she loves horse. We looked for a place to keep her and decided in the stables of an old friend of my mother. We went one day there to see the horse and found a pregnant doberman called Berta. She had brown fur and it always looked like she listened when you talked, she was the sweetest dog i have ever seen. Days later, in the cold night of December in the dirt she had her puppies. The next day we saw her with her puppies so small, so cute. But we couldn't touch them, not then. Some weeks later i came with my mother and my sister to the stables to see the puppies cause our mother said they has grown and we could touch them. There were only three and we could name them so we did. There were two females and one male, and one of the females looked like the male. I called the male Hercules and the female Meg and my sister called the other one Angel. Hercules was the biggest, he had black, brown and some white on his chest, paws and tail. Meg was small but not very, she was exactly like Hercules but did not have any white. Angel was a pretty light brown with some white. We came every day to play with the puppies, we gave them food, made them a little daycare, and walked with them, the mother did not care, she would go away for a walk and would come back when we left.
Berta always took them away when it rained so we did not see them for some days, but one day she came back without Hercules. After that Meg crossed the street and got hit by a car. My mother thought it would be best to take Angel cause she might have the same fate. We decided to sell her, but the day before we sold her my mother found Hercules. He was smaller than Angel for not eating right and he was dirty an hurt. He had a broken ear and some scratches. My mother told me he was missing for ten exact days. We took him to the bet and got him better. We sold Angel to a nice lady and we were gonna sell Hercules. But my father who did not like animals but they loved him said we could keep him. But Hercules wasn't the only one in the house, we had two cats, two dogs, two fishes, two hamsters, two birds and now Hercules. The fishes and Hamsters died of age, we had to give away the birds, and one of the dogs called Nala had a horrible past and killed the little dog, my dog, Lucky. Hercules was little and very good he liked to play and we would take him in a baby carriage we had for dolls. But soon he grew and grew and ate, Well he got big and weighed at least 50kilos.
But he is our dog, the biggest, cutest, nicest dog in the world (that's what we say) cause maybe somebody has a dog and says that theirs the biggest, cutest and nicest.

This may not be written right but i think you get the idea of Herc.

Hi again Rose.

Wow, your dog sounds really cute. Is that his picture posted on the Photography forums? Well, here are a few comments:

My father bought a horse for my mother on her birthday 'cause she loves horses.
Well, I personally don't favor the use of 'cause.

We went there one day to see the horse and found a pregnant doberman called Berta.

She had brown fur and it always looked like she listened when you talked; she was the sweetest dog I have ever seen.
Remember to capitalize your I's, dear.

There were only three and we could name them so we did.
Don't use only here unless you want to give an impression along the lines of something happened to one other puppy.

Meg crossed the street and got hit by a car.
That's so sad. I'm sorry.

He was smaller than Angel for not eating right and he was dirty and hurt.
This is slightly awkwardly phrased. I think you mean "He was smaller than Angel as he never ate right..."

Well, it is a good piece of work. It could do with a bit more of editing though.
Keep writing.

Hi there,
I enjoyed the beginning to this story and happen to admire small little tales such as these, however you need to be careful that although they're true, they still need to be captivating, or atleast very well written. I find it hard to sustain an interest throughout this tale, because after the first paragraph I begin to lose myself in unusual sentence structures. You can look at the "Writing gooder" blog if you need help controlling and structuring your writing, because sometimes you break your sentences up in unusual ways that damage your fluency of writing.

Then there's this section of the paragraph which seems a little unimpressive, if I'm honest. I want you to really tell me what you saw, describe it to me, give me a powerful image; but instead it seems very withdrawn and a little rushed. You don't spend long enough on it and it's like "Woah, she only just gave birth the last sentence!" Here's what I'm referring to:
She had brown fur and it always looked like she listened when you talked, she was the sweetest dog i have ever seen. Days later, in the cold night of December in the dirt she had her puppies. The next day we saw her with her puppies so small, so cute.

Then there's the writing mistakes. There's few of them which is good to see, showing that you're punctuation useage was okay ~ I say okay because of the sentence structures.
Some weeks later i came with my mother and my sister to the stables to see the puppies cause our mother said they has grown and we could touch them.

This should be: "Some weeks later, I went with my mother and sister to the stables to see the puppies, because our mother said they'd grown and we could now touch them."
The points I've noticed here are: Capitalizing the "i", punctuating your sentences correctly, chosing the write verbs and clearing up and typos and unclear sentence structuring.

I hope this review helps you improve your writing,
Keep it up.
Ben

Hi Legendary Rose!

Let's see... I thought this was a good story, but as everyone else had said, it was full of grammatical errors and typos. Just be careful and watchful of that. :D Even though this was a good story, it wasn't captivating. It didn't hod my attention. Perhaps adding some humor into it would make it more interesting.

Hope this helps! Keep writing!
