Okay, this is a slam poem. I'm sure some of you are familiar with the concept. If not a slam poem is just thoughts, sentence fragments, they can tell a story, feelings, anything really. The only thing difference is the way you read it, most slam poems are about sorrows, scared, angered, and basically all the other horrible feelings(you can try one with being happy but when your reading it, its all about your emotions).
If you want to fix anything you may give out points, but the reason I put it on here is because I want a better way of saying this. Like word choice, grammer, anything like that, ha ha.

My soul wanting acceptance from the true god, Jehovah
My heart searching for your understanding
My mind screaming forget them
What have I done wrong?
I want a better life for me
And what do you do?
You talk behind my back
Talk shit about my family
You’re tearing me apart
I know!
It shouldn't matter to me
It’s one of those things He warned about
There a part of the world
They hate me because of His name
What did I do wrong?!
I haven’t
Again!
What have I done wrong?!
I want everlasting life
He will help me!
I know it
I believe He will
What?
I didn’t go to my cousins’ birthday
So what?
I love them
Of course!
They will always be with me
Have you seen their side?
Have you talked to them?
Have you said?
“Hey, what do you think about the Frias?”
When we ask if we can see them
Do you ask them if they want to come?
No!
You automatically answer for “them”
I understand
You won’t accept what I am becoming
But you don’t have to take them away from me
There my family too!
And you have no right to rip them from me
You can’t just take them from my heart
Wait?
What am I saying?
Your just confusing me
Satan is playing with my mind
I don’t know what I want
I’m confused
Lost in my thoughts
Leave me alone!
Please
Shh!

Thank you for your time and thanks for reading!

I can almost hear a Parisian poet chanting this in a little cafe! Well done, I'm impressed. Though one thing I didn't like was the line 'I know, I know' this sort of poetic style doesn't really condone such quick repitition, but these lines:

Have you seen their side?
Have you talked to them?
Have you said?

They melt perfectly into the whole frame and yet stand out (it could almost make a little poem itself)

Well done!
Dave
I saw pale kings, and princes too,
Pale warriors, death pale were they all;
They cry'd - 'La belle Dame sans merci
Hath thee in thrall!'
-John Keats

And yeah I can hear it in my head as well, so I was like yes! Thats where I was supposed to present it, in a cafe, but my mother wont take me.
Thanks Dave!
