She doesn’t know how long it’s been.
Hours, days, months
She runs; she calls but no one answers.
No food, no water
All she knows is she’s alone.
A boy wandering through a meadow
He dreams of never again going home.
He walks; he lies down in the grass.
He doesn’t notice anything
No sun, no birds
All that matters is that he’s alone.
A woman stuck in traffic
She doesn’t know where she’s going
Just moving, just driving
A backseat that’s filled with bags
No letters, no phone
All she feels is that she’s alone.
A/N: I don't normally write poetry but it has been suggested that I seriously give it a try and this is the result of those suggestions. Please, tear this apart.
