This is just another one of my mental blurbs.
It's like two different poems, but I honestly don't know how to separate it since it's also oddly connected. Also, the title sucks. Suggestions?

I want to cut you up into little stars and put you in the sky.
I’ll figure out a way to get up there, and we can twinkle
Like we’ve never twinkled before.

Maybe every time we breathe, we lose a little bit of our life.
In a distorted world when blue is red, and red is violet, we know this
Is as true as our blood rushing through our bodies, creating a pale flush on
The surface of our skin.
You say you don’t blush. I’ve seen it many times, and each time, I melt.

I don’t want you to die because
you’re breathing. Stop breathing, and
I’ll be there to catch you when
You fall over.
Please breathe.

A disgruntled father time
(Enraged, yet impressed by my inhibitions
To stop life from going,
To close my eyes and pretend time doesn’t exist
Because it doesn’t when I’m with you.)
It is as wild and untamed as the forest in those fantasy novels I love.
It’s as beautiful and gnarled as ancient trees.
It’s intimidating, powerful, and gentle.
I don’t question why, I don’t need to question why.
(I lied, I sometimes do.)

I remember all the times I’ve put on a smile,
A painful mask, that becomes true when you’re near
And only becomes more beautiful when the stars manage to
Peek out behind the clouds.

Before you, my heart was hurting so bad,
I tried to carve it from my chest with a needle and box cutter, but no
Matter how many drops of blood I grimaced at, I knew it wouldn’t make
Me happy.

But I grew courage and strength, and my heart was in my hands.
A hole in my chest pulsating with fear, pain, and longing
As I leaned in and whispered into it’s valve how much I hated it for hurting
Me so bad, and it whispered something back.

I put my heart back in my chest with a newfound life, and before I stitched
Myself back up, I gave my heart a kiss and said,
“Thank you.”

A heart knows just how you feel because
Every feeling you’ve felt is felt in your heart.
No matter how much it aches, listen to it sometime.

Thsi is a lovely poem! I think the title is fine. I'm not the greatest title creator, but this is my suggestion X3: Thinking Through Heart. I don't know, but it fits for me. X3 But great job on the poem, keep up the good work!:3
And I vow oath to this creed and all who are within it, to protect and value them all.

I want to cut you up into little stars and put you in the sky. This stanza started out pretty cliche, but then the last two lines really breathed life into it.
I’ll figure out a way to get up there, and we can twinkle
Like we’ve never twinkled before.

Maybe every time we breathe, we lose a little bit of our life.
In a distorted world when blue is red, and red is violet, we know this This really adds tension and really paints the picture of a life that is not just love or sadness. It's everything. And I'm starting to like the poem because of this.

The rest of the poem has a very dark quality. An ideal title may be "Conspiracy" because you exhibit a deep longing for something and it gets taken away. Naturally, a person would be like, "Is there a conspiracy or something?"

Just my idea.
And we'll be a dream...
