Crazy in love (Bonnie's story)

Its time you learned, the tables have turned,
I’m not in control anymore.
But I’m in this for life.

Look what we’ve done, how could this be?
I thought I knew you inside out.
I guess I was wrong.

How does it feel?
To be down on your knees,
begging for your life.
I’ll give it to you and so much more.
When you get with me,
You get more than what you bargained for.

The haunting cry rings through the night.
The gun falls, you’re going down.
And they say the house will always win.
But it makes no sense to me,
because I’ve lived a life of sin.

I know you think I’m crazy.
But I’m too far down the road to care.
I know I’m not thinking rationally,
just doing what comes naturally to me.

My own spin on the Bonnie and Clyde story. Even though they committed terrible crimes, they loved each other so much it looked obsessive. They would literally die for each other. And since it was valentines day yesterday , I thought this would go perfectly. In my version of the story Bonnie knows they will be caught soon and so she kills Clyde herself to spare him from being killed by the law. She loves him so much its obsessive. I know the rhyming is a bit off, but this is more like lyrics . Please comment I would be grateful!
