I stick with short stories too but I must confess, half of my stories either have a prolog and an epilog, just a prolog, or just a epilog. Be free to find something wrong with that picture.

Let's be fair, though: it's only because people very, very rarely post their whole novel on YWS, and also because most people don't finish novels. So there's always going to be more prologues, in the same way they'll be thousands more Chapter 1s than Chapter 30s.
But yes. Prologues mostly suck.
