So far, I think they've been a little dissapointing. Both Planet of the Dead and The Waters of Mars had their really good moments, the former more so than the latter, but both sotrylines were a bit weak, and... overcrowded, somehow. The Maritan water-parasites had the potential to be such fantastic villians, but acting/directing issues led to them being portrayed like B-movie zombies. :\ Adelaide, Lady Christina and the scientist bloke played by Lee Evans were really great characters that it was easy to relate to- no problems there. The fly creatures in Planet of the Dead were unneccesary, I thought. It might have been better for The Doctor and Christina to find their spaceship already abandonded.
I do have high hopes for The End of Time, though. I don't know what I can say, seeing as not everyone will have spolied themselves with as many youtube clips as me
but it looks fantastic! All the quirk and tension that makes all the best Who episodes seems to be there, and the Ood are back! Which is good. Very good.So. Your thoughts?
