bit. thought it was quite amusing). I do like to poke fun at the English language. I actually wrote a poem once on how I think English is stupid. all the strange and inconsistent rules and such, they just drive me crazy. like when people tell me "more fun, not funner", I tend to say something along the lines of "my butt". but anyways, I liked this poem. I thought it was witty and entertaining and overall spiffy.

I'm guessing, you yourself are a linguist? Perhaps you aspire to be one? Some of the language used confused me, as it has been so long since I was in school, learning about prepositional phrases, but I did find it quite a captivating read. I liked the part:

Too many definitionsology

It made me laugh, since I am constantly trying to invent new words. They never do seem to catch on.

Honestly, I have a very hard time critiquing this poem as I enjoyed it so much.

So, I really liked this poem. Your use of alliteration was rather well done, in my opinion, and was the best part of this poem. I also liked the constant comparing and contrasting you did in the poem, saying what was right and wrong, loved and hated. It seemed as though it allowed the poem to keep turning and looking at both sides of the same thing. I liked that a lot.

This poem, for some reason I can't quite pin down, reminds me of Ogden Nash's poetry. Maybe it's the tone or something. It's been a while since I seriously read some Ogden Nash, so I can't be too awfully sure.
