I need advice. Every so often, I write a work, its page number is over 550 pages, and then I sit back, and worry. I get really nervous, extremely timid, before posting a work. Thoughts such as 'What if everyone thinks it isn't YWS standard?' or 'What if people just look at it and think, "OK, this is a bad piece of work."' Basically, I have confidence issues. Does anyone else ever feel really, really nervous? If so, what do you do? By the way, after the work has been posted, I go through 'Panic' stage for one minute, and then am fine. Its just the posting that makes me go all worried.

I totally agree with Snoink, posting stories are difficult and then getting them ripped apart is unbearable and it makes you feel horrible. But on the bright side, at least you know what to improve on! Also, never take the criticism seriously. We're all here to help, right?
I used to be the same way, scared to post my work but after a few failed attempts, I got used to it. I mean not everything I write can be groundbreaking. At least your work means something to you, neh?

Really, I honestly think it's harder for some to critique works than post them. It's hard for me to critique because I don't want to come off as a prick. But like Pink says, we're all here to help, aye?
