You know how you get bits of a song stuck in your head, and it drives you crazy unit you can place the line? If you know what I'm talking about, then you know that after a week of mulling over one line from a poem, I'm about ready to pull my hair out.
Please help me identify the author and title of this poem. Here's what I remember:
I think I found it in an anthology of women poets about a year ago (I wish I had purchased it).
I think it was written with a lesbian flair.
It was a love poem with sexual undertones.
It had short, split lines.
It was about a page long.
It was shaped like an iscosoles (sp?) triangle (smallest angle at the end)
The part that's swimming in my skull: "Yes/She Said Yes/She said/Yes".
And I know it really exists because a cute guy at the register at Borders remembered spacing on the specifics of it for his lit final.
Sound familiar?
