Whats with all this hideous music on TV if you can even call it music???

African American men talking about how many women they have hanging off their arms, how much money they have as a result of entertaining the equally simple-minded fans they have... Also about how they apparently won't hesitate to shoot you in the face if you hurt their feelings.

Even worse is the Caucasian teens who actually had a real chance at life thinking its cool to grow up in a crap-hole neighbourhood, be beat by your alcoholic father and watch your mother be thrown around plus also bashed black and blue by him. This whole thing with wearing baseball hats backwards that are too big for you and buying a $300 car then putting a giant muffler on it to compensate for something irrelevant is so old and overblown.

Theres also the horrid techno music or the combination of techno and the above which is even worse. How can you get a kick out of computer-generated crap?!? As a lead guitarist I'm concerned. Do people even remember what a guitar looks like, have some people not even laid eyes on a guitar in their life so far?

I know that the producers have to dumb their shows down so they're parallel with humanity falling into the vile cess-pools of stupidity ever so rapidly. But come on, give us our music back! :(

What does everyone else make of it?

Meh, it's no worse than the generic emo music that's also popular, or the generic nu-metal I'm into (and used to be popular when I was a lil' younger).
I wrote the above just for you.

There are a ton of musical trends out here, and these are only two of them.

I also loathe all that hip-hop and rap music. That and 'emo' music. I mean, music is music, but you have to have your motivations in the right place. It seems like half my classmates want to be ghetto, black, and be in a gang while the other half wants to kill themselves and thinks not wearing black makes you some princess fairy. I can't even judge the music for what it is because of what a horrible message it carries. Thus, I naturally hate hip-hop and emo music, along with the people who actually accept those ridiculous ideals.

Me? I'll stick with random spouts of air guitar thank you very much.
Spoiler
I like people thinking that I have something so scandalous to say that I put it in spoiler tags, and I'm sorry that because of this selfish desire you were roped into reading this for not real lasting value.

I guess you can't ever go wrong with air guitar...

But seriously, take some advice from me; I was a former music trend snob insulting emo, hip hop and everything 'mainstream' and it did nothing to help me. Nowadays, you have to realize that while basic mainstream steretypes can get annoying, the people who call out those stereotypes and don't accept that they too are stereotyped snobs are just as bad...i'm just saying.

I'll make sure nobody unauthorized runs off with the chamber pot, sir.
