What type of music does the YWS community listen?

So, we all write, we all review each other's work, we all read. So now let's chill for a while and let's just talk about music. Music even inspires us to do more writing and we all listen to all different types of music.
Believe or not Power Metal inspires me to continue writing. And from that I think you can can conclude that I listen to rock, punk, power metal, heavy metal and tons of other types of metal except for Black Metal and Death Metal.

I already said what type of music I listen to. And what about you what type of music do you hear?

Well, I mostly listen to trance, it just bring me to a dreamy state of mind where I can set my mind free and my imagination soar...(listening now) But I also listen soundtracks for many anime and games that I like. Thinking of listening to your favorite boss battle theme when you are writing about an epic battle! Well, those are my main listening, although I sometime listen to other kind of music too.

I listen to a lot of difrent things. Each one inpires me to do something difrent. I listen to: Rock, Alternative Rock, Alternative Metal, Gothinc Rock, Punk Rock, Pop Rock, Pop, Country, R&B, and Clasical. See what I mean? I listen to a little bit of everything. Except for Rap. I hate Rap That's it!!! Now you know!!!

Anyway, I mostly listen to alt-rock. That's about it. Occasionally, I'll listen to Christin rock if I feel like it. Same with country, only some though! The modern stuff.

Punk, Ska, Hardcore, Symphonic Metal, Hardrock, Power Metal, Alternative and MC Lars own genre of rap. I've quite diverse tastes, but for metal I mainly prefer European metal, and for punk, it's best if it's political. So yeh pretty diverse.

Generally, I like stuff in the Pop/Rock genre. I'm sure you could break them up into smaller categories than that, but I don't like slapping labels on my favorite artists. I'm open to other types of music, but usually only in small doses.

I wont listen to Rap or Country, but I'm rather into rock, electronica, and lately, metal.

Alt rock, punk rock, indie, alternative, electronic, punk, the kind of music that is folky but also kind of different and cool and I obviously don't know what it's called. And classical.

Mainly rock, like punk, alternative, hardcore, screamo, metal, I also listen to some pop. Most bands I listen to are Christian, although I do listen to a few songs by some secular artists and a lot of McFly.
